2015 Best Supporting Actor Winner

All too often acting awards (especially on the male side) are automatically given to whichever actor gives the shout-iest and most brooding performance, but there’s great skill in doing something a bit lighter too and that’s what Harvey Keitel does here.  Of course this character isn’t all sunshine and lollipops and does show an undercurrent of sadness in the second half and Keitel manages to handle this transition perfectly.
