2011 Best Use of Source Music Winner

The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo

I most readily associate this Enya song with a strange compilation CD that was heavily advertised on television in the late 90s called Pure Moods.  This scene is certainly moody, but not the mood that the people who bought that CD were looking for.  But that’s the thing about this song selection, it’s just cheesy enough to be ironic, but it’s still an atmospheric song that doesn’t interrupt the flow of the scene and it goes great with modern aesthetics of the Swedish house this scene takes place in.
