2010 Best Soundtrack Winner

The Fighter

This wasn’t a hard choice.  The only movie that came close was 127 Hours, but this one had the quantity to go along with the quality.  This partly takes a cue from The Wrestler in choosing sort of boneheaded music to accompany a movie about blue collar family in the early nineties, but there’s something a little less judgmental about the way it’s been done here.  Aside from being a soundtrack that replicates the jukebox at a Boston Dive Bar, all the choices work really well with the scenes here.
