Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World
Wow. I never thought that I would end up giving Scott Pilgrim Vs. the World four Golden Stake nominations and now a win given how much of an adversarial role I’ve had with it. In retrospect it does kind of make sense though, I never said I hated the movie and it does have a number of praise worthy elements even if they don’t really coalesce into a whole. The movie does earn its award here; it was genuinely clever to bring Routh into this. Furthermore, there were a number of other interesting cameos in the movie from the likes of Thomas Jane, Jason Schwarzman, Chris Evans and Bill Hader.
