Inglorious Basterds
This choice was probably not a surprise to anyone; in fact, the choice in this category probably hasn’t been a surprise in any of the three Golden Stakes. For whatever reason we’ve had three years in a row where someone in this category has created one of the greatest villains and no one (including the Academy) has been able to deny it. What’s really amazing is that each year these transcendent villain performances seem to have topped the last one.
